We offer forward-looking IT outsourcing engagement models to our clients that go over and beyond tactical outsourcing.

Pumex has evolved engagement models to suit an intermediate business model, with a clear value proposition. These models offer the opportunity to accelerate outsourcing higher along the collaborative value chain. Our customers can choose from any one or more of the generally accepted engagement models below for different phases of their project.

We can work with you to customize a model to address your specific needs:

  • Effort based pricing or Time & Material - Our Effort based pricing model, ensures the project cost is a function of the total project execution time and the corresponding resources deployed. If you are not sure about the complexity of the work and if the project is prone to specification and design change during development can choose this engagement model. This model provides our customers with greater flexibility in terms of developing the project specification on an ongoing basis and updating with modifications in keeping with the changing market demands.
  • Milestone based billing - We understand that not all people are happy about a blind Time & material model if they have no prior experience in offshore developments. Milestone based billing is best for clients who are concerned about progress in remote developments. In this model, each milestone has schedules and estimates associated. We bill you as we release each milestone thus you can monitor the progress of the projects and reduce the risks associated.
  • Offshore Development Facility or Retainer - We offer our facilities and service for our customers requiring constant offshore support. We follow all specifications and processes provided by our supplier including operational manual, quality/process frameworks. We dedicate a team of professionals for specific requirements of our clients. The resources are paid on a retainer basis.
  • Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Model - Our Build-Operate-Transfer model, presents a dedicated facility for the client. Through this model, we help the client set up the contact centre from start to finish. The association covers establishment of the operation, acquisition of facilities and staff. This facility is like an extension of the client's own facility. After the contract we transfer facility to the client.
  • Project based pricing or Fixed bid - If you are not sure of a long-term relationship yet, you can opt this model. In this model, you provide us the scope and specifications for the projects are reasonably clear. We provide a fixed bid for the execution of the project and if we win the bid, we shall execute the project within the specific budget and time.
