Problem:
Red Toronto, now Zip-Local, a leading local search engine based in Canada wanted some modules developed for their Crawling engine.
Solution:
Pumex developed a sample HTML-Parsing application for the client, which will update the staging data server with the records found while parsing. The system was developed as a Windows service, and it used to crawl through several websites for fetching the updates.
Platform:
The application was built on Windows platform, C# as the middle-tier application language and MS SQL Server as the backend database.
